Step 6: Long-Term Vision (7–10 Years)

“In 7–10 years, my life looks like…”

For each life category you have chosen, define one Long-Term Goal. As you do this, also describe who you are being in that future—how this version of you thinks, acts, and feels on a daily basis.

Creating Your Long-Term Vision

One of the most important aspects of defining your Long-Term Vision is clarity. This is not a step to rush, and it is not something to invent purely from the mind. The mind can take you in countless directions, but your inner being already knows the path that is right for you.

Before writing down specific goals, take time to slow down, reflect, or meditate, just as you have in previous steps. When you feel a sense of inner clarity, begin asking yourself:

  • In 7–10 years, what kind of home do I see myself living in?

  • How do I feel emotionally and mentally on a daily basis?

  • What condition is my body in?

  • What does my career, contribution, and financial life look like?

You already carry a vision within you of who you are meant to become and what you are here to unfold. If you feel uncertain or disconnected from that vision, begin by affirming that clarity is coming. You might repeat daily:

“Every day, in every way, I am becoming clearer about my life’s mission.”

Start from the knowing that you do know. You do not need all the details. Write down the general concepts, and trust that the universe will organize the specifics. As you move through each life category and sub-category, include details where they feel natural and aligned—but never force them.

Guidelines for Setting Long-Term Goals

To the best of your ability, your Long-Term Goals should be SMART:

  • Specific – Clearly defined and focused

  • Measurable – You can tell when the goal is complete

  • Achievable – Stretching, yet realistic and believable to you.

  • Relevant – Directly aligned with your Mid- and Long-Term Vision

  • Time-Bound – Long-Term Goals are designed to be manifested within 7–10 years, unless otherwise specified.

This Long-Term Vision becomes the anchor for everything that follows. All Mid-Term and Short-Term Goals will be derived from it, ensuring that every action you take moves you toward the life you are consciously choosing to create.
